Upcoming March For Science

The CGSA Board wanted to pass along this time sensitive info to the CIDD grad community, from an email we received regarding the upcoming March for Science on April 22, 2017 from the group WE ARE for Science.  This group is organizing buses to attend the event and you need to register for a spot on the bus by March 1 on this form.   Cost details can be found in the message below.

Hello Everyone,

As many of you know, WE ARE for Science (http://sites.psu.edu/weareforscience/) is planning a trip to the Science March in Washington, D.C. on April 22nd. Attached is a link to a form that will confirm your attendance. The bus will cost $10/person and payment can be made to me (hdg5028@psu.edu, 303A Deike) or Virginia Marcon (vzm5146@psu.edu, 315 Hosler). Both cash and check will be accepted. The bus will be leaving promptly at 5am from the Atherton Bus Station and will depart DC between 4-5pm to return to State College.
If you plan to attend, you must complete this form (https://goo.gl/forms/QEQOPZm3uMEACavp1) by March 1st. Please remember that attendance after payment will be mandatory. We of course cannot enforce your attendance, but please recognize that if you do not show up on March day, you will have cost someone else the opportunity to attend.
Please spread the word and bring your friends and families! Right now, we plan to rent one bus, which seats 55 people. If interest permits we will be renting a second bus as well.
We hope to see you on March day!
Helen Gall, Virginia Marcon, and Maddy Nyblade
