R is an integral tool for many life scientists. Whether it be analyzing data, building models, or just evaluating existing models, many parts of our job rely heavily on some fluency in R. As such, the CGSA is planning to hold an R tutorial at 11:30 AM on February 3rd in W-203 MSC.
This workshop will cover the basics of R. You don’t need to have any familiarity with R to attend. However, you should have it downloaded (it’s available here: http://www.r-project.org/) as well as RStudio or a similar easy editor.
If you’d like to attend, please send me an e-mail at azm200 @ psu.edu, with the subject “R Basics RSVP”. We will not be working in a computer lab, so please plan to bring a laptop or make arrangements to share with someone.
